We originally came up with this recipe during the excitement of the Rio Summer Olympic Games. It's a perfect summery spin on Brazil's most famous cocktail.
1/4 cup Cachaça
Half a lime, cut into quarters (wedges)
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 oz. of a mango, puréed*
If you're a big fan of mango, you can up the amount to 1/2 of a mango per cocktail.
Combine the lime and sugar in the glass.
Using a muddler or wooden spoon, mash the lime and sugar together.
Add mango, ice, cachaca and stir together.
Garnish with a slice of orange or lime and serve. You can also opt to add a mint garnish as well.
